Even the most lovely Victorian gown needs all the right accessories to pull together a complete period look. In modern America many women choose simple short hairstyles in keeping with our active lifestyles, these rarely give the period effect we long for when dressing for a Victorian event and so the Gypsy's Needle offers beautiful options for hair. Our wigs are Synthetic and styled by Kathy England.
Kathy has over 40 years of experience as a hair stylist, with the research from the LaSalle Library Images we are able to look to the past to bring the hair fashions of period mode to you.
Wigs are mailed pinned securely to foam heads our wigs have safely traveled the world.
Shipping in the U.S. is $12.50. For shipping overseas please email us, the approximate shipping to the U.K. is $28.00
As our wigs are becoming more sought after we ask that you
please allow four weeks time from order to delivery. If you need a wig rush ordered extra shipping and handling charges will occur. Please email us in this case and we will be happy to let you know what is possible.

Elizabeth was inspired by a custom request from our very own Lady LaSalle and so she is named well. With an elegant high piled crown and very full bangs Elizabeth is all lady, even if her alias counterpart Madame LaSalle is not! Shown here in color #8

Named for my own true alias self and the very first style I requested from our talented hairdresser. Gypsy with perfectly pinned curls and my signature split bangs shown here in color #27.
Jessie Wig $75.00
Jessie is styled with cascading curls down the back and
one side with beautiful full bangs and one side pulled
smoothly and neatly up and pinned. Jessie is a lovely
style for late 1870’s day or any evening occasion.

Worn perfectly by Fannie Kikinshoot! Fannie requested this style as a custom order for the 2007 SASS Convention. This wig was just so great we had to show it on Fannie! She looks like she stepped out of the television. Shown in color #27.
